In a bit of a quandary.

I made a new Lisa today, but this time using the base model Genesis 3 and I have to say, I don't know what to think. The original Lisa was made using Genesis 2, all the models were come to that.
I gave Genesis 3 the exact same morphs and dimensions that I created for the original, I gotta say it's a little weird looking at her, she looks like Lisa, sort off. Actually the best way I can describe it is that they have the same mother but different fathers lol, and now I don't know whether to switch all models or whether or not you like the models as they are.
Now I've said all that of course, it has just dawned on me that I would have to recreate everything, poses, expressions and the like, but now I've said that, you only have to look back at the time I lost all my work, not only did I have to recreate everything, I had to do it using new software.
You can see that I am in a quandary so here's a side by side comparison and I would very much like your feedback, although ultimately I may not listen.

The Erin's, the cover and the banner.

Firstly, I must congratulate all of the winners of this years Erin Awards.
I was delighted that everyone got the recognition they deserved. Me, personally, had no expectations for any awards what so ever, so to get an Honorable mention in the best game category along side third place for both best new author and best sex scene is truly an honor that, at the moment I'm still trying to fathom.
And so a new banner is here for a while, to celebrate all that took part and especially A. Ninny for a long overdue Lifetime achievement award, very much deserved, I doff my cap to you sir.
As of this time there are only NINE show me comments for the new cover, and, although I wanted ten, in keeping with the celebratory mood in which I find my self, here it is. I hope you like it.

Idle Hands.

The floods are gone woohoo, everything is fixed and new carpets go down next Friday. To celebrate this, I went and bought a remote controlled lamp for the living room,
I can, today, officially confirm that idle hands really do make light work!
In other news, my January blues did not last until the end of January, and I have been busy working.
I have decided that there will be NO update to Teacher's Pet. I just don't see the point, it has had over 44.000 downloads, the mistakes are well documented and, as may have seemed obvious to some of you when it was released, I just want to move on.
I want to learn from my mistakes, going back now and cleaning them up would teach me nothing, I would gain no more insight at all, so it can keep it's bug and I know better in the future.
Don't get me wrong, the whole cast of TP still has a story to tell, and they will all be told, just in a slightly different way.
I love the new game already, the programming is so much easier, everything has a place and, it already has it's own cover, It is fucking awesome, would you like to see it?
As with TP I am at this point a little loath to talk about the game. I don't want to big it up, only to find it falls by the wayside, although, honestly, I cannot see that happening, it's just to good an idea to waste, so here's a little something at least.
I was sitting watching a program on TV called 'It was alright in the 70s' and thinking about how I could tell everyone's story in one game. meanwhile, on the TV, they started talking about an old kids show called 'Mr Benn.' The story goes, that every time he walks into his local costume shop, he tries something on and then steps through a curtain and hey presto, he takes on the roll of that costume.
OH MY FUCKING GOD, I dunno who this Mr Benn is, but if he wasn't animated I would go and find him and shake the old bastards hand right off.
You are Sally Pepper, your uncle Ben just died and left to you his shop, it's an old second hand shop called 'Old and Worn' (Copyright me 2016 lol).
Your uncle did not own a rice company and your father was neither a doctor nor did he have a 'Lonely Hearts Club Band' (Younger viewers Google the Beatles, although if you did not know this already, you need to slap yourself.)
Anyway, sometimes people leave things behind, clothing mainly, usually they just want rid because  they hold bad memories, all you have to do is figure out which ones and go back, as them, and stop the bad before it's done.
That's all I'm saying!!

The January Blues + UPDATE

For what-ever reason, I seem to be suffering from a bout of the January blues. I was really looking forward to 2016 so it really makes no sense to me at all, I just cannot seem to get myself motivated to do anything, and I'm not just talking programming and AIF, I really do mean anything, anything at all.
I opened Teacher's Pet yesterday to give it it's much needed update, and then just stared at it, for 3 hours, then I just shut it back down. I really couldn't be bovvered.
The flood in my living room was sorted out over Christmas, I have a brand new floor and new carpets coming next week, and, with the decorators coming in this Friday, I really have nothing to feel down about. And yet I do, I don't fuckin get it!!
Rest assured my friends, I will get to the bottom of it and, even if I don't, I do know this, one morning I will just wake up and decide that today is the day and on we go again. Maybe it's just the drab weather, I dunno, but I'm working on it, well I am when I can be bovvered to. lol. Sooner rather than later would be good!!!!


Added 21st Jan

Me and my big mouth!! They have given me a new floor in the living room but, they have only succeeded in diverting the problem.
As of this afternoon, my kitchen is now under an inch of water, I could not believe it when I got home.
You've got to laugh really, well I do, it's the only thing that keeps me from going fucking mental!!
I have to keep me chin up now, else I'll bloody well drown lmao.

The school panto.

The first performance of this years school panto went down a storm.

No expense was spared for this years production of  'Little Red Cinderella's Faery Tale' it would seem. It was filmed and released on the first of December under the guise of something called
'Teachers Pet.' and has already achieved over 31.000 downloads.
The staff, pupils and parents of Melchet High would like to express thier utmost gratitude to everyone that has participated in downloading thus far and especially the staff and volunteers that made all of this possible. The editing staff are currently working on an improved HD version of the production and hope to have it ready very early on in the new year.
Until then may I, (acting headmaster Realgood.) the staff and all of the pupils and parents here at Melchet High, take this opportunity to wish you all a very, very merry Christmas and an exceptionally wonderful and happy new year.

A little about the game.

You are a young man at school who has the chance to dog sit for his English teacher.
There is a test at school today, if you don't do well, you'll have to stay home and study instead.
7 points needed to progress, 2 very simple bonus points to be earned. One of my testers thought the quiz was impossible, but I came up with each question and answer off the top of my head.
IF you do need help, you only have to ask, I want this shite little game to be shite and enjoyable.
All sex commands are usual.
I urge you to smell taste and take everything.

Big Bug reported, thanks for finding it. If you ask Lisa about problem when she is at home, it will take you all the way back to school. So please don't do it.

Before we begin!!

I have heard nothing  from my beta testers since the 16th of this month.
So, before we begin.....

Teacher's Pet is as much  a graphic novel as it is AIF,
It's not very good. Yes you interact (mostly), and yes the graphics are great. (I hope). But, I personally, would not play it more than twice. I'm sorry, but it's a fact.
I wanted to write AIF and I wanted to learn TADS3. That's all it ever  was!  I have said as much, so many times. I have tried so MANY tines to proof read the game myself  but  I may have missed  a few.
The game will be out, in the next few days, I need to get rid of it lol.
I have other games to work on, and I will not let..... "The Bastard Child." stand in the way of it!!!!!
If you go over to the Reddit site for AIF (https://www.reddit.com/r/AIFCentral/), there are so many people that say "Start small." That's what I did!!
I hope Mr Deus ExLibris does not slate it too much, but, I kinda hope he does. 
Ah well, C'est la vie!!

I have a mini flood going on in my living room at the moment, That's basically why it all slowed down. The membrane under the footings has had enough and given up the ghost.
You should just know that, once this is done, I do plan on continuing to write AIF.
I will not disappear. I will keep working, I will keep writing, and I will get better, through thick, thin or flood, I promise.
I prey my testers are O.K. Jarel started a new job this week, so please, wish him well, we all deserve at least that!!!!
