Poser next:- Poser Pro 2014 and windows 10 do not like each other, they bicker like school children, constantly, Windows 10 pro x64 does not like Poser pro x64 but, it does like Poser Pro x32. again rather like a school girl. "I don't like you anymore, but I do fancy your little brother. " Bitch!!
The good news is that all the AIF runners seem not have noticed the change and, windows treat's them like nothing more than that kid you see in the playground every day for 3 years but don't know his name.
The final scene is now being written but, I am having to wait for poser for the final images. All is not lost however, I took this time to try out Daz3d AGAIN. I found it all rather easy (That's never happened before) I even tried out the new Iray render... Wow, fuckin wow, The results are incredible.
I have to have another small op on my back tomorrow so the weekend will be spent fine tuning a few things, but .nothing more.
Be good, look after one another and PLEASE tell me if you like the new girl.
After adding the pics, I can still only say WOW!!!
Glad things are going well and you are making progress full steam ahead! Well maybe not full steam with the weekend woes - wish you best of luck with that - but things are coming along!
ReplyDeleteAnd for just hoping in there and giving daz a go, I'd say you did pretty good! Obviously just teaser pics but they show what all can be accomplished with it. Bet you are already eager to jump into the next with this sort of stuff, huh? =D
Well don't abandon your other project - you are almost there! In the mean time you can keep yourself occupied with creating a handful of teaser / concept art with your new love hehe
I had to think about this a little. Yes I am quite eager to get on with the next story, but first things first, Teachers pet is no bigger than a mini-comp game, yet it has taken so long to ......program, not write, but program. The thing about it is, once completed, it holds, within it's program, so many templates for future games. I don't wanna turn out a game every other week, but it will make it easier, just knowing that when I find a problem in the future, I have a reference base, somewhere I can go straight away, and to begin to understand these things that have gone before, There is always the copy and paste part of course, but only for certain parts,
DeleteNothing will be abandoned, I'm much to close for that, and yes, part of me does just want to rush through the remainder and get it finished. That's not gonna happen either. I am excited by the future and already have most of it mapped out, but those are strides and I am still on baby steps.
Aside that is a bit stiff, and the face is a bit neutral without expression, it's a bit wow even for me.
ReplyDeleteYour right, she does look a bit wooden, added another with a smile at least, but all just testing, nothing more, As looks go, she still has it. (For me anyway. )
DeleteThe contrast between the realistic high res face and the lower res body is really really weird though.
ReplyDeleteI agree it is a little weird, I'm still playing with it though and most of the renders above are only 40% done, The full renders are the one in the red shorts and top and the little black dress, it shows too but as I say, I'm still just playing, def not going to delete her tho.
DeleteHey man! Nice Iray renders, though I agree the contrast between her face and body is a little sharp. Are you cropping her face onto the body or what's your work process like? What setup are you using? I've got two GTX960s and man, things are still pretty slow. I've recently started rendering animations in iRay and let me till you, it's not that much fun, as you can probably imagine. Also, let me also recommend using some kind of blood vessel pack for even more realism. For her face and body, I can definitely recommend using the metropolitan collection, consisting of very nice maps.
ReplyDeleteWhat lightning setup are you using in these pictures? Three spheres, white, orange, and blue light?
I agree with the contrast thing, but I think I have sorted that now. I suppose in a way I am cropping the face onto her, These were really the first thing I had ever done in Daz, as mentioned I was a Poser user for years. I used the new version of headshop, which is a Daz plugin. Took a bit of figuring out but I sorta got there in the end.
DeleteAs for the rig. I run an AMD FX 8350 Black edition 8 core processor, 4.2 Ghz, overclocked to 4.9 Ghz and the Msi GTX 980 ti 6gb graphics card. that's it, still pretty slow though, about 20 mins for each of the above, 35 mins for the couple that are 100% rendered.
I used no lighting, iray/daz has, it's own default lighting and I just used those for messing around. I have not played with animations yet, it's still all baby steps for me and Daz at the moment, although, I have thrown the teddy out of the pram a few times, remarkably, the pics for TP are just about done.
