That was the week that was!

That was the week that was.... A total waste of time? Maybe. after saying that I was only a week away, I get called away for five days. "We need you in Shepard's Bush, at 8.30am, tomorrow. "
I don't live anywhere near London but, work is work, first and foremost. 5 days became 6, became 7. So nothing has been done to the game.
I am supposed to be retired from the trade for fuck sake ( I sold the business, I do not expect to have to keep jumping in. )
I did, however, manage to mess around with Daz a little more, and it now poses a series question.
I was always good with Poser but, I never managed to get that face shop of theirs quite right. With Daz I have created some figure's that are almost identical to the original model.
So my question is this.... How close is to close? I watched a few t.v shows and thought " I could make her. " But should I ever put them in a game? surely if they are that close it borders on 'invasion of privacy. ' Or something like that. None of the following are rendered to 100% (Just 10% in most cases. ) I have even left in some sketch lines But imagine if they were 100% I am all for
FanFiction, but is this taking it just one step to far?
I would really like to know your thoughts on this, I can easily get them closer, as a match, but would I ever use them?

  1. First off, great job on these and the last few posted renders, too!

I think it could potentially be extremely upsetting to someone who has not previously chosen to work in the adult entertainment industry to wake up one day and find adult fiction with graphic depictions of oneself engaged in all kinds of acts. There may well be all kinds of written adult fiction about them already for all I know, but it doesn't quite carry the weight of images. It's probably ok if you're clearly referencing a fictional character they happen to have portrayed, but not the person herself. I guess part of being an actor is learning to draw a line between the roles they play, but I would imagine that's all the more reason to feel that what little private lives they manage to salvage should stay private. Also, would it not limit your imagination when creating stories involving them?

If you're just trying to create life-like figures without a specific reference, have you considered mixing and matching? I think some artists e.g. borrow elements from different models to create a new figure.

All that said, I think fan art is great, it can be quite flattering and if you like these actresses it's worth doing; I'd say keep it classy if there are real people involved, though.

Hopefully you can enjoy some well-earned rest now!

    1. A man after my own heart Bob, I agree with the whole thing of waking up one morning and finding yourself AIFed. It was never about the actresses per-se, it was more about pushing Daz and seeing if I could get a reasonable enough look-a-like, and I did. Not only could I do it, I can get them a lot closer. I just don't really want to.
Every industry has a bench mark, Deep throat bought porn to the masses, and so fourth,BUT I do not see myself being the one to bring Emma Watson (Or any other actor/actress. ) porn to the masses in AIF form.
I have stories already written in my head and they do not involve anyone (Other than me lol) famous.
Thank you for the comment, you just confirmed what I already believed.
