It really is, it's Christmas day, well, early hours of the morning
actually here in the UK, regardless of when and where, I would so like
to wish you all a very, very Merry Christmas, maybe Happy's a better
word, and, with that in mind I wish you all a happy Christmas. You see,
peace, is happy, love, is happy, family, is happy, my Dad, on the other
hand, was always Merry lol.
Wonderful times with wonderful
people, the people you love! Family doesn't have to be blood, family can
be, I dunno, the Grandpa that bought you up, the next door neighbors
that make you feel safe when Mum and Dad are going at it, the dog down
the road that always makes a bee-line for you... The people that make
you feel happy, loved and special.
Do I believe in the spirit of
Christmas? You bet your fucking ass I do, to give is the greatest gift,
and even if you feel you have nothing to offer, a simple "Hello, Merry
Christmas." To a homeless or old person does more than enough to lift
that someones SPIRIT.
I would finish with a rhyme, but I wont get it right
So to all a great Christmas, and to all a good night!
More to follow.............

I nearly didn't make it.
I wanted to just post a couple of pictures in time for Christmas but I very nearly didn't make it.
Last week while rendering the Christmas card my machine suddenly went POP, Twice!
It was dead and, I knew deep down, that it was entirely my own fault, how fucking stupid could I get?
I finally did it you see, I got that second graphics card that I wanted, one GTX 980 and £595 quid later I synced the two together, never once giving any thought to what this would do to my 600 watt PSU, well, two Pops and a few sparks was the answer and then it died, mercifully this was all very quick.
The week before Crimbo is always a very stressful time for couriers I'm sure, but this was an emergency, if they couldn't help me, who could? Well, no-one is the answer and they didn't seem to give a seasonal fig about me or my plight, and so the week long wait was on.
Did my motherboard survive? I doubt it, did my GPU's survive? Probably, hopefully. Did my RAM survive? Who gives a shit there two a penny(ish)
Finally Christmas eve arrived and there was the lovely courier, I even gave him a tip, "Never keep me waiting like that again." but he didn't seem to take it on board, I didn't care, I now had 900 watts of sheer brute force, all of which, of course, would be of absolutely no use to me if the last one took the motherboard with it!
I carefully removed every component and set all up in a cosy cardboard box, it's a non-conductor of static you see, and I was not about to take any chances. One hour later and everything was set and ready for my equivalent of the famous Blackpool illuminations. Slowly the index finger of my right hand made it's way to the power button and, with a heavy sigh, pressed said button.
"HEY FUCKING PRESTO." I shouted as the whole thing burst into life.
"IT'S ALIVE, ALIVE." I screamed quietly, whilst taking great care not to alert the neighbors.
So rendering went into over drive and here, dear friends, is the result, your Christmas card with love affection to you all, mostly.
I call it "A wee dram for the big man."

And we're not done there, oh no. This year, instead of a panto that cast and crew decided to do a whole night dedicated to Queen, no, not the royal one, the band, with Freddie Mercury, it was a huge success thanks to the new power unit.

Just a quickie!
As the title says, this is just a quick update.
Sally's Old and Worn is coming along nicely, a little slower than I would have liked but moving nonetheless, things are being added daily and graphics are now into the hundreds, so not bad at all.
That's it for now, I will keep you posted as I progress.
Be good!

Edit for Ptypoe
Please don't take this the wrong way, I saw a post on FB this morning by my little brother that simply read "Thanks for having me, goodbye." Twelve hrs later I filed a missing persons report, two hrs after that, the police found him locked in an out building having taken an overdose. Ten minutes after that I posted the update, for no other reason than I needed to do something, anything, just anything. Two hours after that I get the news that he is OK, as in, he out of danger. Ten minutes after that I post this update, for no other reason than I don't know who to be mad at (Ptypoe is not even close to making the list) and I could do with the distraction....
You are in Gino's, on your date with Evie when you think you see her sister, you go over there only to be met with hostility by one Nellie Goldling, a local rock star thinking you are just after an autograph, she plays a very minor part with no nudity, or anything else for that matter, a lot of this is due to look-a-like, it's a little to close and I don't need the lawsuit.

You can see how the mistake was made, especially from behind.
This Pic is only rendered to 10% as it does not appear in the game.
As always, click to enlarge.
That's all folks and trust me, this was not meant to make you feel bad in anyway, I really did need the distraction. .

The Promised Update
Here is the update I promised Liugi last week, or maybe the one before.
So, the game? It's coming along nicely actually, especially since I got my zest back.
All Paths have been written, and by written, I mean written on paper, although two are almost complete in the programming world, but that alone, I am afraid, is a long way from the end.
You see, the game involves Emma, Evie, Lisa, Samantha, Sally, Dave and You. all of whom are main characters, and all of whom have a story to tell, each story has three paths so. therefore, three endings. It's a long process but I'm managing to get in three or four hours everyday which, given the way I was feeling just a few weeks ago, is really quite something.
Graphics currently sit a 75 thus far, but the end result will almost certainly quadruple that and then some, each of which, if you take an average time, is upwards of an hour, so I probably have, in excess of three hundred hours of renders left to do, although all basic scenes are built, saved and ready to start,
I tend to write the scene as I am rendering the picture, I get a clearer picture in my head that way and I can better describe what I am seeing in my head, as well as on the render, I don't know if other authors do this, but for me it's a perfect fit that kills to birds with one stone, in other scenes it just does two birds with one boner lol
I have always loved working with 3D and 2D graphics and. until a few years ago when I sold my own company, was something I did an awful lot of.
I am going to leave it there for now, as I don't really want to give to much away.
PLEASE do not read into this something that is not there, there is no time frame and what gets done, gets done, when, and only when, it gets done, so for now, I'm done... Not done, done, just done....For now, you know what I mean!!
For now though I will give you one last pic of the pool seen at sunset, so it here it is......

Lazy Days and Sunsets
Well, the summer holidays are here at last, that means that Lisa gets to spend some time by the pool, well, in it actually in this case.
One day, in the, not to distant future, you will understand what this little scene is all about but, for now at least, I'll let the girls tease and tantalize you a little....... Oh, and don't get to excited about the blonde in the picture, that, after all, is your mother, Samantha.
I cannot resist one more little tease, Lisa, who looks as hot as ever she did by the way, is totally naked in that there pool, nada, nothing, not a stitch...... PHEW,, I LOVE SUMMER.

Oh Brother!
In my last post, I mentioned that the funeral was done and that I was ready to get back to it, well, it's a little bit weird sometimes just how life likes to throw you a new curve ball. Just as you think you're ready, you wake up one morning and there it is again, except this time it's closer to your face than your pillow.
And so, I have had my brother visiting for the last week, and it was good, you know to reminisce and so on and copious amounts of Kronenbourg definitely makes it more bearable and an awful lot funnier. We have not seen each other for eight years, although we talk on the phone every week and, I must say, it reinstates something in you, quite what that is, I haven't a clue and we parted company yesterday in good mood and good spirits.
There is no moral to this story but, when I woke up this morning there was nothing in my face, other than the odd loose feather of course, I woke up with a clear head and the feeling that everything in my world was at peace again. I got up, made a coffee and, without second thought booted the game back up, I have spent the last to hours writing and loved every minute of it.
I'm back, not up to speed, but back, the clouds have cleared, the sun is shining and I have the real feeling that I'm in for a long and peaceful summer!!

"Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Singin': "Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right! "
Rise up this mornin',
Smile with the risin' sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin', ("This is my message to you-ou-ou: ")
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.

Cheers Bazza
The 14th of March was my birthday, as it was last year, for this was the day I was born.
This year however, it was also the day that I found out that one of my best and dearest friends has been taken from this earth and, because of circumstances I cannot fathom, the funeral was finally today.
Bazza had been fighting MS ( multiple sclerosis ) all of his life, and by god that boy could fight, he was one of the bravest men I have ever had the privilege to know, so. to hear that he had died of a mass heart attack came as a bit of a shock also.
Nothing has been done to the game since his passing and, until today, I seem to have been stuck in some kind of limbo.
Today, I finally said goodbye and, I hope, finally move forward.
Cheers Bazza old son, here's to you my friend, I loved you dearly, and will miss you, clearly.
I raise a glass to you this evening and hope the few that read this will join me, and not just to you. but to anyone that takes thier fancy.
Cheers all.
